Life's Wake-Up Call: Are You Ready?
Phrases like this should make every person pause and reflect on their life. They prompt each of us to ask the crucial question: Am I truly prepared for what lies ahead?

IN JESUS WORDS:
Luke 12:35-40 (NIV)
- “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them. It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”
- Are you ready for Jesus if He comes today? Scripture tells us that those dressed and ready for service with their lamps burning will be happy when He arrives. To be "dressed ready" means being clothed in righteousness. In the New Testament, God takes away our sinful clothes and gives us pure, holy garments as His children. This represents living a pure life free from sin. With the help of the Holy Spirit, God enables us to live in this way.
- Are you ready? Are you dressed in white and living for Him? Do you need to let go of some sinful habits you are still holding onto?
It would be wonderful if Jesus returned to find us living holy and loving lives of Christian service, worshiping and adoring Him while we joyfully wait for His return.
It might happen sooner than we think.
