General Information

Beginning Monday, August 4th, we invite you to join Empowered By The Word Ministries for a 21-day Daniel Fast. This journey is a collective effort to draw closer to God through prayer and fasting, helping us disconnect from distractions and reset our spiritual compass.
We pray for personal breakthroughs and Empowered By The Word Ministries, the Body of Christ, and all God-fearing pastors and churches worldwide. Our fasting will focus on the following specific areas:

1. Matthew 9:35-38 Pray earnestly for the end-time harvest of souls and laborers

2. Individual/Corporate Evangelism, Repentance, and Revival
3. Spiritual growth and outpouring of the Holy Spirit
4. An awakening of holiness and humility in the church

5. Health, Wholeness, and Healing in body, soul, and spirit
6. Restoration, healing, and unity in families

7. Revival in the United States of America, especially in the Government
8. Financial outpouring into the hands of givers to fund God’s end-time harvest

9. New Worship Center - Growth in ministry to support the vision of EBWM

10. Blessings upon Israel & Open hearts to the Gospel of Jesus Christ

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHILE I'M FASTING?

Fasting is not something we offer up to God; instead, it assists us in offering ourselves up to God (Rom. 12:1-2). Remember, prayer is essential. During times when you would generally eat, exercise, watch TV, use social media, or socialize on the phone, you can use that time to pray. We are here to support you and provide guidance throughout this journey.

Worship (Nehemiah 9:1-3; Acts 13:1-3)
Petition (Daniel 9:3,17)
Reading the Word of God (Nehemiah 9:1-3; Jeremiah 36:6)
Humbling yourself before God (Ezra 8:21)
Asking for direction and guidance (Judges 20:19-46; Ezra 8:21)
Mourning (1 Samuel 31:8-13; Nehemiah 1:3-10; Esther 4:1-4)
Confession of sins (1 Samuel 7:6; 2 Samuel 1:12; Daniel 9:4-18; Nehemiah 9:1-3)
Repentance (Joel 2:12-17)

Nurturing a Deep Hunger and Thirst for God's Presence

Revival begins with a renewed hunger for God. When believers thirst for God and seek Him earnestly, He responds by filling them with His presence. It is time to rekindle our passion, deepen our intimacy with Him, and desire His presence above all else.

1. THE IMPORTANCE OF HUNGER FOR GOD

Hunger for God leads to deeper intimacy – When we hunger for God, we pursue Him passionately, just as Moses desired to see His glory (Exodus 33:18-19).
Hunger for God brings divine encounters – Those who seek Him experience fresh revelations and deeper understanding (Jeremiah 29:13).
Hunger for God produces spiritual transformation – The more we desire Him, the more we are changed into His image (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Hunger for God fuels revival – Every great revival in history started with a people desperate for God’s presence (Joel 2:12-13).

2. SIGNS OF A DECLINING SPIRITUAL HUNGER: Many believers experience seasons where their hunger for God diminishes. Recognizing these signs is the first step toward rekindling passion.

Loss of desire for prayer and the Word – When hunger for God fades, personal devotion becomes a struggle (Matthew 26:41).
Comfort with spiritual dryness – A believer who no longer craves God’s presence is spiritually unhealthy (Revelation 3:15-16).
Increase in worldly distractions – When the love for material things grows, spiritual hunger decreases (1 John 2:15-16).
Lack of conviction over sin – A diminishing hunger for God makes sin seem normal and acceptable (Hebrews 3:12-13).

3. HOW TO RENEW YOUR HUNGER FOR GOD: Restoring spiritual hunger requires intentional effort and a sincere pursuit of God.

Return to the place of prayer – Intimacy with God is restored through consistent fellowship with Him (Matthew 6:6).
Immerse yourself in God’s Word – The Word of God stirs up a longing for Him and reveals His heart (Psalm 119:103).
Fast and separate yourself from distractions – Fasting sharpens spiritual sensitivity and increases hunger for God (Matthew 4:2-4).
Surround yourself with spiritually passionate people – Fellowship with those who seek God will rekindle your passion (Proverbs 27:17).

4. THE BLESSINGS OF A LIFE FILLED WITH GOD’S PRESENCE: A life saturated with God’s presence is a life of power, peace, and purpose.

a) Supernatural peace and joy – God’s presence brings a deep inner satisfaction (Psalm 16:11).
b) Strength and spiritual empowerment – Those who seek God are renewed in strength (Isaiah 40:31).
c) Divine guidance and direction – God leads those who hunger for Him in the right path (Isaiah 58:11).
d) Victory over sin and temptation – The presence of God keeps believers from falling into sin (Galatians 5:16).

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, ignite my hunger for You. Remove distractions that keep me from Your presence. Holy Spirit, renew me and draw me closer to You. Restore my commitment to prayer, worship, and Your Word. Let my life carry Your presence everywhere I go. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Transform Your Spiritual Path with EBTWM and God's Word!

In prayer, we recognize God as the one who answers our requests. A "decree" is a command that aims to change specific situations, helping believers align their circumstances with God's will. By decreeing and declaring, we affirm the power of our words to bring change and fulfill God's promises. These prayers serve as direct affirmations or requests to God.

Here are some key points:

· Praying: is asking God for something.

· Declaring: means stating what you already have from God.

· Decreeing: establishes something new through God’s authority.

Let’s Put Them into Action:

Prayer for Divine Guidance: Heavenly Father, I declare in prayer that the presence of the Lord shall be my guide throughout this week, month, and year. That Your eyes will go with me and my Family and that we will be led in the paths of light and righteousness by the name of the Lord of Hosts. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Issue a Decree against Regrets: In the name of Jesus, the compassionate Savior, I decree and declare freedom from regrets throughout this month and year. I come against every trap of the enemy to make me fall into mistakes that may bring regret and damage. I decree by the mercies of the Lord that every mistake will be a stepping stone for greatness in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declare that my family and I are free from Strange Sickness and Diseases: Lord Jesus, I declare divine health over my body. I reject every form of strange sickness and disease. By Your stripes, I am healed. I claim the promise of health and vitality. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Decree against Premature Death: Almighty God, I humbly come before You in prayer, asking that the gates of premature death be closed over me and my family. According to Your Word in 1 Corinthians 15:55, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” and verse 57, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Therefore, by the blood of Jesus, I claim victory over death and the spirits of the grave in Jesus’ name. I decree my household and I shall live to praise the Lord according to His perfect purpose for us, fulfilling the number of our days on earth. Death has no sting; therefore, we walk in undeniable victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
A Plea for Grace to Overcome Temptations: Heavenly Father, I decree and declare Your abundant grace to overcome temptations in this new month and year. I declare that I am strengthened by Your Spirit, and I decree against every allurement of the enemy to be rendered powerless over life and family. I walk in purity and righteousness to glorify the name of God alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Decree Against Limitation, Stoppage, Road Blocks, Backwardness, Regress, Retrogressions: According to Habakkuk 1:5: “Look among the nations and watch—Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you. Isaiah 43:13: Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I decree an end to every form of limitation, stoppages, roadblocks, backwardness, and regress in my life. I walk in the path of progress, and retrogressions are reversed by your power for promotions in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
